Social Skills Groups Ages 7-10 and Ages 11-14

October 2023! 

This 6-week social skills group will help children develop necessary skills to engage in group conversations and form healthy friendships. The group is aimed at increasing confidence in social settings by understanding social expectations, modifying behaviors, and building self-awareness. This will be done through role playing, modeling appropriate behaviors, giving/receiving feedback, and activities/games to help learn teamwork.

Begins Saturday October 7

Ages 7-10: October 7th 10:30am-11:30am

Ages 11-14: October 7th 11:45am-12:45pm

Introducing Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, Dr. Ali

Introducing Dr. Ali  Dr. Jabeen Ali, MD is a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist and she has joined Summit Clinical Services! Dr. Ali is credentialed with Blue Cross Blue Shield plans (BCBS PPO, BCBS HMO through Northwestern) and Aetna!Dr. Ali's Background  Dr. Jabeen Ali is a double board-certified Child, Adolescent, and Adult Psychiatrist. She was born and raised in Illinois, and went on to complete her undergraduate studies as a Medical Scholar at Saint Louis University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. She obtained her medical degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine. Dr. Ali returned to the Chicagoland area to complete her General Adult Psychiatry Residency Training at Loyola University Medical Center followed by subspecialty fellowship training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Chicago Medical Center, where she also completed Parent-Child Interaction Therapy certification.
