Dr. Ali’s Background
Dr. Jabeen Ali is a double board-certified Child, Adolescent, and Adult Psychiatrist. She was born and raised in Illinois, and went on to complete her undergraduate studies as a Medical Scholar at Saint Louis University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. She obtained her medical degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine. Dr. Ali returned to the Chicagoland area to complete her General Adult Psychiatry Residency Training at Loyola University Medical Center followed by subspecialty fellowship training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Chicago Medical Center, where she also completed Parent-Child Interaction Therapy certification.
Dr. Ali specializes in providing high quality, attentive, compassionate, and holistic child and adolescent psychiatric evaluations and treatment for children, adolescents, and their families. Her special interests are to support children and adolescents during difficult adjustments to life changes and events, anxiety, depression, and ADHD.
Dr. Ali’s approach to patient care is open, understanding, compassionate, and collaborative. She strives to work together with children, adolescents, and their families to identify the struggles the child may be experiencing and to determine various beneficial interventions to support them in feeling better, so they may live their life more fully with greater contentment, life satisfaction, and achievements.
